Eleanor V. Frysinger, age 88 of 1604 Majorki Place in Celina, Ohio passed away at 10:40 a.m. on Monday Dec. 8, 2014 at the St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. She was born on June 23, 1926 in Celina, Ohio to the late Arthur Atmur & Myrtle (Fast) Fishbaugh. She was raised by her step mother Joy (Bryan) Fishbaugh. On Sept. 25, 1954 she married Ralph Eugene Frysinger, who died April 7, 2000. Survivors include her two daughters & sons-in-law Tracy & Jeffery Medford of Middle Point, Carolyn & Leon Pancake of Celina, 6 grandchildren Ashley Medford, Sarah Medford, John Medford, Justin Pancake, Allison Pancake, James & Erin Pancake, 2 great grandchildren Wyatt Pancake, Claire Pancake and her sister-in-law Alvera Fishbaugh of Celina. Eleanor was preceded in death by her great granddaughter Natalie Pancake and her two brothers & sister-in-law Pearl & Betty Fishbaugh and Arthur Atmur Jr. "Whitey" Fishbaugh. She graduated from Celina High School with the Class of 1945. She was employed by the City of Celina Public Schools in the cafeteria as a cook and retired as the cafeteria Manager in 1988. She was a member of the St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Celina, a 50 year member of the Celina Order of Eastern Star #91 and a Past Matron. She was also a member of the Alterian Club in Celina and the St. Paul's United Methodist Women, where she helped with the Election Day Dinners. Eleanor enjoyed sewing and good country living. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday Dec. 12, 2014 at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Celina, with Rev. Matt Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina. Friends may call from 3-8p.m. on Thursday at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina and 1 hour before services at the Church on Friday. The Easter Star membership services will be held at 8:00p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Paul's United Methodist Church.
