Bernard "Bud" Litherland, age 71 of Celina, passed away at 4:25a.m. on Sunday Dec. 28, 2014 at the Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys. He was born on Aug. 6, 1943 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to the late Gerald & Eleanor (Bullock) Litherland. On June 12, 1982 he married Mary Hutchinson, who survives in Celina. Also surviving are his children Michelle & Chris Lowe of Waynesville, Michael Litherland of Atlanta, GA, Lisa & Lenny Greco of Cape Coral, Fl, Lee Litherland of New York, Ny, a step son Sean & Lisa Stewart of Coldwater, eight grandchildren Zachary Frazier, Arika Steinke, Morgan Lowe, Madison Lowe, Leo Greco, Noah Greco, Seth Stewart, Sarah Stewart, a great granddaughter Alayna Frazier, brother & sister-in-law Jay & Helen Litherland of Sarasota, Fl, and his sister Martha Litherland of Traverse City, MI. He was preceded in death by his step daughter Christina Stewart. Bernard graduated from Coldwater High School He was a self-employed truck driver. Bud was a social member of the American Legion Post #210 and a member of the Celina Moose Lodge. Nascar brought a lot of joy to his life, along with the Cincinnati Reds baseball and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Funeral services will be held at 10:30a.m. on Wednesday Dec. 31, 2014 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Eric Muhlenkamp officiating. Burial will follow in North Grove Cemetery in Celina. Friends may call from 2-8p.m. on Tuesday Dec. 30, 2014 and an hour before services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
