Charles Lee Craw, age 72 of 805 Greenbriar Ct. in Celina, Ohio, passed away at 12:33p.m. on Monday September 30, 2013 at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center. He was born on Sept. 24, 1941 in Chattanooga, TN, to the late Charles & Bertha (Deyhle) Craw. On Nov. 17, 1962 he married Doris Norris, whom lives in Celina. Also surviving are his children Richard Craw of Celina, Sharon & Tony Slusher of Celina, grandchildren Elizabeth Craw, Lindsay & Brian Gilliand, Whitney Kroft & Brandon Moyar, Amber Eubanks, Heath Paul, Harrison "Robby" Paul, great grandchildren Gage Craw, Peyton Gilliand, Piper Gilliand, Parker Gilliand, Raegen Stein and Elexya Stein, brother & sister-in-law Bert & Brenda Craw of Warner Robbins, GA, Annie Uptain of TN. and his sister & brother-in-law Elizabeth & Randy Easter of Rockwood, TN. Charles was preceded in death by his daughter Margaret Cencebaugh and his brother Richard Uptain He served his country in the United States Army. He was formerly employed at Chrysler in Van Wert, Ohio and retired from the Tank Plant in Lima after 26yrs. After he retired he worked at Huffy's in Celina and was then employed at CAPT in Celina. Charles was also a volunteer with the Adams County Sheriff Reserves. He was a member of the Celina V.F.W. Post #5713 and the Celina Eagles. A memorial service will be held at 5:00p.m. on Friday Oct. 4, 2013 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Richard Van Horn officiating. Friend may call from 3-5 on Friday at the Funeral Home. The Celina Eagles service will be held at 5p.m. and his Military Honors will be held immediately following the memorial service.
