John Melvin Leugers, age 54, of 323 3rd Ave. in Coldwater, Ohio passed away Friday, February 10, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital Dayton, Ohio. He was born on April 05, 1957 in Celina , Ohio to Othmar and Viola (Fink) Leugers. On March 27, 1995 he married Sherri Coats, who lives in Coldwater. Also surviving are his sons John Leugers of Coldwater, David Leugers of Coldwater, Gary Coats of Marion, Ohio, Robert Freuh of Shawnee, Gregory Beougher of Venedocia, Ohio Brandon Hand of Coldwater, Harley Leugers of Coldwater daughters Nichole Leugers Zahn of Coldwater, Brianna Massengill of Celina, brother Thomas Leugers of Dayton, 12 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Larry Wine Jr. and two grandchildren Jacob Alexander Zahn, Dec'd and Rebecca Faith Zahn, Dec'd.
He served his country in the U.S. Army and was employed as a Police officer in Ansonia, Ohio and Security Guard at Huffy's in Celina.
A Memorial service will be held at 1:00p.m on Sunday Feb. 19, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Montezuma. Condolences may be made at LHDfuneralhome.com.
