Lester L. Johnson

Lester L. Johnson, age 76 of 220 Lincoln Dr. in Celina, passed away at 9:44p.m. on Wednesday Feb. 8, 2012 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. He was born on March 29, 1935 to the late Albert W. & Mary Lavaun (Kendall) Johnson in Mercer County. On July 8, 1963 he married Jeanie Ousley of Celina. Also surviving is his daughter & son-in-law Candy & Tom Wale of Celina and his granddaughter Brittney Wale of Celina. Lester graduated from Celina High School in 1954. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War in Germany. Lester retired from the Navistar in Springfield, Ohio in 2000. He was an avid hunter and a member of the Mercer County Sportsman Association. Funeral services will be held at 10:30a.m. on Monday Feb 13, 2012 at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Randy Christian officiating. Burial will follow in Swamp College Cemetery in Celina. Friends may call from 3-6p.m. on Sunday and one hour before services on Monday at the funeral home.
